Deployment & Support Engineer – Speech Solutions, IPT and Network
Responsibilities
- Deployment of our Linux based and applications within customer environments at customer’s premises or hosted in the cloud
- Develop and maintain technical project documentation (HLD / LLD)
- Writing of scripts in Python, JavaScript
- Design of VXML applications
- Writing project specific deployment tests
- 2nd level support interfacing in house R&D, located at the same office in Zurich and offshored in Eastern Europe
- Support integration with IP telephony and other IT Systems i.e. CRMs
- Support customers and partners with testing and installations
- Ensure system stability through technical maintenance and upgrade, bug fixes, improvements
- Incident, problem, change and capacity management for the deployed applications
Requirements
- 2-5 years or more IT, IVR and PBX VoIP & SIP technical background
- Proven track record in deployment and support work in a customer facing team including integration and consulting on Voice Biometrics and Speech Analytics systems
- Experience using Unix/Linux
- Software development background in Python, JavaScript or another fourth-generation language, ability to design, build and support VXML applications
- Systems administration and partner / customer technical tier 2 support experience
- Excellent experience in how-to integrate ASR into large and global enterprise contact centers.
- Proven track-record in integration of various systems (ASR, TTS, Recording) in enterprise contact centers (Cisco, Genesys, Avaya)
- Good knowledge of various WFO systems (Verint, Zoom, Nice) is an advantage
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud application architecture
- Knowledge of IP Telephony protocols, especially SIP
- Technical part project coordination and consulting skills will help
- Ability to work autonomously in a geographically distributed international team
- Ability and willingness to travel in Switzerland and occasionally Europe
- Self-motivated and able to come up with new ideas
- Fluent in English and/or German (Swiss German), French or Italian are a plus
- Russian, both written and verbal is a strong plus for dev collaboration tasks as part of this role
